ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Quickly established and consolidated Dubai as a key Austrade Post in the Arab world, from which humble beginnings it grew into a major regional office
- Delivered presentations at ‘invest in Australia’ seminars in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Frankfurt and New York between 1991 and 1994
- Non executive Director of ASX listed Investment AustAsia Investment Limited (BOT toll road and bridge projects and Badaling Great Wall Cable Car operations in China)
- Introduced the underwriter ($35 million) in advance of the listing of Cabonne Limited (integrated wine company), secured a State Government Business Development Grant for Cabonne and subsequently served as that company’s Australasian Sales Manager
- ‘Eye on the prize’, completed all nine marathons started since 2000.
