ACHIEVEMENTS:

Since graduating from Monash University in 1989 with a degree in business, majoring in banking and finance, Harry Burdett has had extensive practical business experience.

Harry has worked at National Westminster Bank PLC, where he was responsible for completion of annual reviews, carrying out ongoing financial analysis and monitoring adherence of company performance to loan documentation for a portfolio of Australian mining companies and joint ventures. The role also involved assessment of project financing transactions and required liaising with other parts of the Bank worldwide and other international capital market participants.

Harry has also worked at ANZ Sydney Corporate and ANZ Investment Bank, working with companies in the mining, telecommunications, media, entertainment, healthcare and education industries. Roles involved being responsible for the management of all the banking needs of a portfolio of companies, including multi-nationals, with revenues in excess of $75 million.

Harry has owned, built up and then successfully completed the sale of a property management franchise and has worked as a Property Manager/Leasing/Sales Agent where he was responsible for the management of the day to day requirements of a commercial/industrial property portfolio and assisting with the leasing and/or sale of commercial/industrial properties.

Most recently Harry successfully set up, established and owned Business Broking Solutions (BBS), a business broking/
consultancy business servicing small to medium sized privately owned companies and individuals. BBS solely relied on personal recommendations of professional service providers for clients and provided selling and buying broking, valuation and general business and commercial advisory services. Services included helping individuals in the search for and acquisition of businesses, assisting companies with and advising on the selling and acquisition of businesses and/or equity and assisting and advising on general commercial matters. Businesses Harry has worked with have ranged in value from $70,000 to in excess of $3 million.
- · As well as this broad commercial and business experience Harry Burdett gained CPA status of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants in 2011 and in 2005 obtained his full Victorian estate agents licence.
- · Harry has also worked in equities as a private client advisor, done voluntary work with mentally and physically handicapped people on a regular basis and travelled through Africa, UK/Europe, USA and the Middle East.
