MARK EWING

Mark Ewing is a Chartered Accountant and Company Director with more than 35 years experience in professional, commercial and finance organisations in Australia, UK and the US. He specialises in the provision of corporate advice to SME’s and small listed companies, due diligence, capital raisings and business sales.

From October 2004 to May 2007, he was a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of TSV Holdings Limited, a supplier, distributor and systems integrator of electronic communication equipment, audio visual equipment and electronic security products.

From December 2005 to December 2008, he was on the Board of Racing Victoria(“RVL”), the governing body for thoroughbred horse racing in Victoria and a member of the Wagering, Research, Audit and Remuneration Sub-Committees and previously a member of the Board and CEO Selection Sub-Committees.

In October 2008 he was appointed as the RVL representative to the Board of VicRacing Pty Ltd, the joint venture with TABCORP that provides the funding for the racing industry.

In November 2006, he was appointed Chairman of Austral Waste Group Ltd, an integrated waste management company with interests in Victoria and Western Australia and Chairman of the Audit and Environmental Management Sub-Committees. In May 2008, Austral Waste Group acquired the business of TEAC Australia Pty Ltd and disposed of its waste assets and relisted as TTA Holdings Limited. He was appointed Deputy Chairman of TTA Holdings Limited in May 2008 and currently retains that position.

In January 2009, he was appointed as an adviser to ProRide Racing, a company that installs and maintains engineered, synthetic thoroughbred racing training surfaces in Australia and the US. 

In addition, he provides capital raising advice and compliance services to companies operating Managed Investment Schemes in the property and finance sectors. He acts as a consultant to Australian Choice Timber Supply; a solar technology business with interests in South America and Australia, Revolution Sports, a UK based sports marketing business specialising in the racing industry and Geoff
Harrington & Associates, a boutique corporate advisory business.
